His age is in months as is his clothing size. According to Bennett, Briggs, & Triola (2009) “A correlationmay suggest causality, but by itself, a correlation never establishes causality. Muchmore evidence is required to establish that one factor causes another. “(p315) Thereare factors that could have effected his clothing size at different ages. We clothdiapered him which made it necessary to have slightly larger clothing size due tobulk.Babies also have periods of rapid growth called growth spurts that could causean increase in size earlier than expected.
