Importance of the Topic to Nursing and Healthcare
In Module C, students will complete a poster presentation. The presentation should demonstrate to
other students how professional nursing organizations and health care policies impact the area of
interest the student selected in Module A. The poster presentation will include and build on
information developed in the Module A Paper. A grading rubric and example templates will be
provided in Module C. Students will submit the poster to the Module C Forum for a small group of
their classmates to view and discuss. The presentation will include the following information:
• Overview (purpose of presentation)
• Importance of the Topic to Nursing and Healthcare
• Professional Nursing Organizations involved with topic
• Costs in Healthcare related to topic
• Engagement
Each student will reply to a minimum of two peer poster presentations. Each reply will be to a topic
that is different from the student’s selected topic, to facilitate a richer discussion. The replies may
describe what you learned from the poster, how what you learned can be applied to your practice or
your experience with the topic. Each reply should range in length from 50100
words.
