According to Rollinson (2010) p4,
“…organisations are extremely complex entities that are not easily understood without conscious effort, this is no reason why they should be studied. Nevertheless, there are two important reasons why an understanding of organisations and the behaviour of people in them is, or should be, of concern to us all”.
Required:
Critically analyse the factors influencing individual behaviour in an organisation you are familiar with.
Considerations Evidence required of the following:
Assess at least three factors which impact individual behaviour in an organisational
setting.
Provide definitions, examples and theories surrounding behaviour from a range of
sources.
Critique how the theories of individual behaviour may work, in practice. You should
consider the practice in at least three different occasions.
Furthermore, you should explore the advantages and disadvantages of the theories presented in obtaining enhanced organisational effectiveness. In so doing, you are
required to apply the theories and critically appraise not to describe the theories.
It is important to use appropriate references for the facts given; through application of the APA 6th Ed Referencing system.
