Get college assignment help at Smashing Essays Question Photographs and films are mechanically-produced images. Yet, their artful and expressive qualities equal those of paintings, drawing, prints, and any other manually-produced work of art. In fact, one could easily argue that all of the aforementioned art forms are part of an extended family of media that borrow from and influence one another. That said, we must also acknowledge that photography and film-making also possess unique qualities that cannot be easily matched by painting, drawing, and printmakingThis discussion board thread must analyze the differences between photographs and/or films as compared to paintings, drawings, and prints.Ask yourself the following questions: In what ways do photographs and films differ from other art forms in relation to the art-viewing experience? As audience members who are accustomed to viewing and responding to paintings, drawings, and prints, how do we view and respond differently to films and photographs? Why did the author write the article? What issue is the author trying to address? For example, a thesis might look like the following:◦Brunswick conveys an effective argument using logos to support his claim that the American Dream is dead, however, the claims he makes are not new and have been made by others over the years thus diminishing the notion that his concerns are current and relevant.•Use the organizational suggestions identified in the “GUIDE TO WRITING A RHETORICAL ANALYSIS” listed in Chapter 6.•Be sure that the analysis includes a summary of the original essay and basic publication information about it (its author, place of publication, and publisher). •Avoid first/second person in your response. •Your response should not reflect any personal bias or personal opinion about the topic.•Your response should Indicate content that is effective and ineffective and why.•Define all your analysis terms (as used in the textbook) and cite your sources. Hello I would like for someone to read and check
Question Hello I would like for someone to read and check over my paper. Please check for grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and rewording if necessary. I greatly appreciate it thank you. Why did you choose to shadow this chaplain? I decided to shadow this person because i knew them form my college Mount Vernon Nazarene University. My junior year I had a class where we went to a hospital; and we connected and he said if he ever needed anything he would help. I reconnected because of other classes throughout my undergrad and graduate school. He made a really big impact on my life and I realized that I wanted him to be my first shadow. I decided to go with him because when I went to visit the hospital it was great. For my first shadow I really wanted to be a little more comfortable in knowing who I was going to be shadowing and have a somewhat familiar place. After the fact he give me the confidence to realize that I can go anywhere and shadow others. This is a first great step in order to go further in my other shadows. What did you learn from your chaplain shadow experience this module/week?I learned so much from this shadow. One thing that was a major impact was that chaplains help everyone. They help doctors, nurses, family and patients. I knew we would help a lot of people. However, helping people all across the hospital was amazing. One day we sat and talked with a doctor. I found this amazing because it was beautiful in all ways. People coming together to help each other grow.Another thing that I loved about this shadow was how he taught me to take time for myself. He told me that depending on where you work you will work long hours. Your job is to focus on other people and to help guide others. Often times you help people and forget about your own well being. The important thing is to make sure you take time for yourself and to be strong mentally, emotionally and physically. If these are not in order then we can not help others. The most important thing is to have good health, god can help guide you through anything. As long as we keep ourselves healthy we can help others. One last thing I learned was that we can not help everyone. Often times people are in crisis mode and chaplains are there to help the best they can to all those around to feel at ease into knowing that they are not alone. However, there are those people who do not want to have the help or who do not want to hear about God or anything like that. Often times people may want to be left alone. I know that chaplains want to help all those around, but sometimes it is alright to take a step back and have a person breathe and come to realization of what’s going on. Eventually they want to help. If they never want to help then that is OK we can always pray over it and allow them to see the light in the darkest hour. How can you apply what you learned to your current ministry? I have Florida so much that I can take to my ministry. One major thing is my health. Often times I catch myself focusing more on others and not on myself. I need to realize that my health should come first and once my house is in check and I can help other people heal. And Chaplin is an every day job. You will be helping thousands of people and not just patient. I learned that it’s alright not to know everything. Often times we may not have the answer and that is OK. I’m going to apply in my ministry that we may have things that faces that we may not know what to do, but with the guidance of God and those were loved ones around us we can do anything God will lead me down the right path. Often times I may not know what I’m doing or I may not know where I’m going, but with Gods help and guidance I know I am in safe hands. It is alright not to know everything and not to be able to do everything. God will give us what we can handle and we can make a big difference as long as we try and never give up. God will help guide me in all my ways. I may feel sad and I may want to give up, but God will be there to life me up. God can do anything for us as long as we have the faith. How do you perceive this influencing your future chaplaincy ministry? This shadow was a great experience. Especially since I knew the person I was shadowing and it was a lot easier than trying to connect with someone that I do not know. This shadow gave me the confidence to move forward in my other shadows that I will be doing. I took a lot away from the shadow and I can apply it to my other ones that I will be doing, so that I can grow as a student, disciple and as a chaplain. This class and shadows will help me grow in so many ways in my life. I am hoping by then next shadow that I will know more and be more comfortable and confident to do better work. At times this can be awkward and unknown territory. People are stepping into new things in life.. However, at the end of the day we realize that this will help us grow in all directions and allow us to be people of God doing the work that he called us to do. God is amazing and always. I never thought I’d be going to graduate school and shadowing chaplain, but I am and I am loving every second of iT.
