Question Hello,I’m having the most difficult time on searching for explanation on vertical integration in intelligence agencies. I spent 2 days on it now and I can’t move on with writing my paper because that’s the main thing I need. I’m new on here and this is my first questions asked. I’m not sure if I’m even doing it right. Thank you,Beata

With intro, abstract (exec summary) and conclusions – thanks You are an action officer in your local jurisdiction’s Office of Homeland Security. This is a recently created office. As a medium-size jurisdiction, the city manager’s office has dual-responsibilities in many of the leadership and management positions. This is often referred to as being dual-hatted. The chief of police has been assigned as the director of the Office of Homeland Security for the city. She has no prior experience or knowledge of the legal basis of homeland security and has asked you to provide a formal information report on the topic. The chief intends to share this report with other office managers, city department heads, the city manager, and the elected officials of the city (mayor and city council).Assignment GuidelinesInformation PaperDevelop an information paper from one of the following: USA Patriot Act; Homeland Security Act; Intelligence Reform Act; Implementing Recommendations of the 9-11 Commission Act, and the Transportation Security Act.Identify at least 2 areas that are publicly controversial.Establish a position of support or nonsupport of the area under consideration.Reference all source material and citations using APA 6th edition.Evaluate how information is shared across the homeland security enterprise.Explain how foreign and domestic threats impact the U.S. criminal justice system.

Winning the Race for Talent in Emerging Markets,
You will need to turn in on each date indicated below, a three full-page paper (typed, double spaced, normal margins, and a #12 font) summarizing the article for that day and addressing the issue for that article noted in the list below. Please note that during the review of the article in class, I will randomly choose students to summarize their original ideas for us. Partial papers (shorter than three pages) will receive partial credit. Each article should be written on 3 pages and 3 resourcesPlease note that I don’t accept late papers.#1 article #2, Winning the Race for Talent in Emerging Markets, Provide me with a brief synopsis (short cumulative review) of the article and then address this issue: do effective recruiting tactics vary by culture? Will you find possible variations even within a culture, such as within the United States? (the essay should be on what you think about the issue which is “do effective recruiting tactics vary by culture? Will you find possible variations even within a culture, such as within the United States?” and you also have to say why you think that. Here is the link for the article https://hbr.org/2008/11/winning-the-race-for-talent-in-emerging-markets

ATTACHMENT PREVIEW Download attachment Screen Shot 2019-08-08 at 6.30.30 PM.png 2) Assume that you are interested in purifying b-galactosidase from the rest of the proteins found in your cell extract. It is very useful in protein purification to know how much you have purified the protein of interest from other proteins. Protein purification is a multi-step process, and each step corresponds to a specific purification technique that removes a subset of the contaminating proteins while preserving the protein of interest. Usually, the purification starts with a precipitation step where some contaminants precipitates while the protein of interest and a fraction of the contaminating proteins remain in the supernatant. This supernatant is then submitted to different type of chromatography that separate proteins based on their properties: charge, hydrophobicity or size. As the purity of the protein fractions increases, the fractions will have less protein (because of the purification) and less total activity (unavoidable loss of the protein of interest). However, the fractions will be enriched in the protein of interest and the specific activity of the protein should increase. The following table contains information regarding the purification of P-galactosidase. Step Volume [Protein] Total Activity Total Specific Yield Purification # (ml) mg mil protein (U/ml) activity Activity (6) (Fold) mg) (U (U/mg) 10 12 300000 2 9 8 30000 3 13 16.67 1.1x 10 4 2.4 7.91 7.1×10 The yield for step N is defined by: (Total activity in step N/Total activity in step 1) The purification (X-fold) for step N is defined by: (Specific activity in step N/specific activity in step 1) I) Complete the table (see above). (4 pts) 2) What type of experiment would you propose to determine the purity of the B-galactosidase fraction obtained after step 4? (Hint: you have used this technique in lab). (4 pts) 3) During a fifth purification step, the total amount of protein decreases and the total activity increased. How would you explain this observation? (2 pts) Part II: Detection of B-galactosidase and Cytochrome c (14 points) 1) You have used primary antibodies raised in mice anti-Cyt c (MW 12 kDa) and anti-B- galactosidase (MW 116 kDa) followed by a treatment with a anti-mouse secondary antibody labeled with a infrared-fluorescent molecule. If you did not know the molecular weight of the two detected proteins, could suggest how to specifically detect each protein with antibodies? Explain. (4 pts) 2) Suggest two experiments confirming that the Cyt c you detected is associated with mitochondria. You don’t have to give detailed experimental protocols, but you need to indicate controls that needs to be included in your experiment. (6 pts) 3) Could the measure of ATP production be one of these experiments? Explain (4 pts)Read more
