Before we studied polynomial functions we looked at Linear Functions and Quadratic

Functions. Linear Functions are polynomials with a degree of 1. Quadratic Functions are polynomials with a degree of 2. All higher degreed polynomials relate back to the linear or quadratic function in some way. Think about the similarities and differences of the linear and quadratic functions to the polynomial functions. Which higher degreed polynomials are like the linear function? Which higher degreed polynomials are like the quadratic function?
