The second round of coding allows you to move from multiple codes in the first round to a more informative set of themes and/or a narrative. This round is more thematic and less concerned with mere data organization.

With the data collected through the interview assignment, write a paper that includes the following:

The step-by-step process that was taken during the second round of coding, and justifications for each step/decision taken; use the readings and other available literature to support each point.

A brief outline of the codes/themes that resulted from the second coding process and how these differed from your results in the first round.

A brief discussion on the challenges encountered and limitations discovered and what could be done in future research projects to minimize the challenges and limitations.

A brief discussion on the positive aspects of the coding and results you obtained.

Include your interview guide and transcripts as appendices.
