You will write a research proposal on a pre-approved topic related to your major or specialization such as Tourism & Hospitality, Event Management, Tourism Marketing, & Business Enterprise.
Your research proposal must be 2900 words to be organized and submitted as follows:
Part 1 – INTRODUCTION:
It is a 600-word part of the proposal consisting of the following:
• Title (The study of the effect of social media in enhancing domestic tourism in Oman)
• Overview
• Research Question
• Objectives (3-4)
• Significance of the study
• Scope & Limitation
Part 2 – LITERATURE REVIEW:
It is a 1600-word literature review which includes a comprehensive summary of previous research related to your proposed topic. This review must incorporate scholarly articles, books and other academic sources. You should clarify, objectively evaluate, enumerate, summarize and describe those previous researches in an essay form.
Part 3 – RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:
This part of the research proposal is a 700-word discussion of methodological approaches and justification of the method you intend to use to achieve the proposed aim and objectives.
