The stereotype of the field of psychology

The stereotype of the field of psychology is often limited to the
domains of counseling and clinical work; however, you will find that the field is much broader than you may have known. We are considered a science and can be grouped with the STEM fields. If you were given the task of explaining modern Psychology to a colleague or family member, how would you present it (if your presentation represented the full scope of the domain)?
