much more developed version of your outline.
Elements of Presentation Outline
Preliminary title
Preferably one that attracts the attention of the
reader, while still accurately reflecting the
contents of the paper
Rewritten topic paragraph
It should sharpen the focus of the paper, include a
clear research question, and provide a
preliminary hypothesis as to the answer to that
question
Elements of Presentation Outline
Sentence Outline
Approximately 1-2 pages in length, containing
fully developed sentences that are arranged in
logical order
Try to consider realistically how many pages
each sub–topic will take to cover adequately, so
you can anticipate whether you are trying to
discuss too much or too little for a 20 page paper
Elements of Presentation Outline
Use Harvard style outline format (use full sentences
though for each line):

Analytical
Questions of logic; Exists only in language
Normative
