One warm summer evening, you are walking by the local Burger World when you hear a conversation between two teenage boys, Beavis and Butthead:
Beavis: “Hey Butthead, let’s go get some nachos.”
Butthead: “No way, Beavis. We only have a dollar and nachos are like, uh, $5.”
Beavis: “Oh yeah, heh, heh. Well, I still want some nachos.”
After their conversation, Beavis decides to mow the lawn for his neighbor, Anderson. He then takes the money Anderson pays him and buys nachos. Meanwhile, Butthead goes home and watches TV.
Evaluate the decisions made by the two boys. Why did they differ? Whose decision aligns most closely with the one you would make? Use concepts from our class to explain your answers.
