The topic I have always had trouble with understanding is accounting and interpreting financial data like balance sheets and ratios. Math is not my strong suit, so I’ve always struggled with calculating the information and using it to assess an organization’s financial status and what that indicated for their future. The equations used to calculate data are also hard to comprehend and figure. It is also a stumbling block for the upcoming assignment. I am not good at reading raw data. I have been studying my accounting textbook to help me best explain the ratio analysis for my two companies in the assignment, as well as researching their numbers.
