The primary and fundamental objective of this research is to conduct a study on the healthcare professionals in order to find out and explore the current status of the level of sensitivity present within the practices exercised by the healthcare professionals in Jordan regarding the aspect of breaking of the bad news to the patients. The objective of this research project also includes the attempt to find out the ways, instruments, and tools that can be used by the healthcare professionals of Jordan in order to improve the level of sensitivity while breaking bad news to the patients.
The main objective of this study is to determine how Jordanian hospitals can be able to improve their sensitivity when breaking bad news to patients. In line with this objective, the study also delves in specific objectives which include:
To determine the current level of sensitivity used to break bad news to patients by the Jordanian medical experts
To explore why the Jordanian medical experts use the currently existing levels of sensitivity when breaking bad news to patients
To comparatively analyze the protocols used when breaking bad news to patients in Jordan and the UK
To investigate how the Jordanian medical experts can improve sensitivity when breaking bad news to patients
