WRITE An Analytical Report Topic Memo & Analytical Report

Proposal. (Please pick a topic that would get me an A in this Writing class).

Analytical Report Proposal NEEDS:
Prepare a two page document proposing a research report on your approved analytical report topic.  Be sure to include each of the following sections:

-Introduction – set up the topic and describe it
-Background – restate the issue or problem your report will address that relates to your topic.  Provide evidence from external sources that this is truly an important topic.
-Methodology – discuss the type of research you will conduct to find out information to address your topic (library research, survey research, etc)
-Approach – discuss how you will approach preparing the report (conduct research, analyze research, write draft, etc)
-Anticipated findings – discuss what you expect to find out and why
-Conclusion – summarize what you have written and remind reader why it is important (Don’t forget to cite any sources you have referenced in your proposal).
Grading criteria:

-Contains all required sections
-Supports main points with evidence
-Makes strong argument for importance of topic
-Provides effecting introduction and conclusion
-Is free form grammar and punctuation errors Due to the assignment folder no later than Jan 31 by 11:59 PM.
