of work. If you are in line to be serviced by that teller and there are 10 customers in front of you what is the probability that you will be served within the next 24 minutes?
Answer: If the teller assists 160 customers in 8 hours, that is 20 customers per hour or 10 customers in 30 mins., given that each customer takes about 3 mins. If there are 10 people in front of me then I won’t be seen until after at least 30 mins. So, the probability of being served in 24 mins is unlikely.
Is this correct? How do I state it as a Probability?
