Learning Activity #2: Judy Malone went to J-Mart on March 27, 2014, slipped and fell on a clear substance on the floor. No one ever determined what the substance was, but J-Mart did sell soft drinks in the store, and customers could walk around with their drinks.  Ms. Malone wishes to recover for her injuries. Pick one state in the U.S. and discuss whether she can recover under that state’s law. Discuss why or why not she is entitled to recovery under your interpretation of that state’s law.
