I am XXXXXXXXXX, full-time father of twin daughters, provider, student, resilient, and a strong empowered male. I am currently a sophomore at Arizona State University studying Art with a focus in digital photography (Name).

Earning an art degree with a focus in digital photography alongside with a previous business degree, my plan is to start my own photography company (Purpose). I have always had an entrepreneur mindset. Just being able to work on my own time and maximize time with my family is the main goal. To accomplish these goals there are several different things I need to work on to really establish myself when the time comes. I’m focused on refining my writing skills which will enhance my presence on social media, specifically blogs and my future website (Needs). I also want to develop the skills to successfully manage content on multiple enhancing my photography brand. I have always been a strong leader willing to take on advice from others to help develop myself as a person.

My current occupation is a Lead Engineering Technician specializing in Aerospace launch vehicles. I develop and conduct testing on trident missile accelerometers. Prior to employment at Honeywell, I spent five years in the United States Navy as a submarine Electronic Technician specializing in submarine navigation. I lead a navigation team consisting of five members serving as a mentor and a trainer on developing skills to master complex submarine navigation systems (Technical Background). Based on my military background I have become a senior supervisor over the years surrounding myself with peers with similar positive goals. I’m willing to speak up and take control of situations and always put my training. I’m very confident when it comes to future because no matter what the situation may entail I always believe in myself even if others choose not to (Cultural Situations). As a child I was always taught even a thought of failure creates negativity, and with negativity comes failure. I spend a fair amount of time on YouTube and other types of social media gaining inspiration from new and seasoned photographers gaining knowledge about the craft and to receive honest and truthful tips on being successful. I try not to spend too much time watching or reading the news online due to the amount of clickbait and dishonest opinions. Social Media can be an excellent tool to network and make a name for yourself to people you are unfamiliar with, which I think will be a saving graph marketing myself starting my own photography business upon graduation.

When looking for inspiration online through websites or social media I prefer very concise details, professional presentation, and understandable and relatable stories (Length and detail). I have found that social media is my go to because majority of the posts are straightforward and networking with most individuals is usually simple (Format and Medium). I look for professional presence, confident tones, and positive outlooks. Most of my time spent online is usually randomly throughout the day at work or late at night if I can’t sleep (Timing). I like people who speak the truth and don’t sugarcoat life as an entrepreneur for likes or views, just tell me how it really is out there on your own.

As you can see I like to surround myself around positivity because I personally believe positivity breeds success, which is a key factor as an entrepreneur (Personal Perspective). Speaking of positive state of mind, time to go play tag with my daughters and enjoy some quality family time full of laughter and relaxation.
