This is the scenario:

Max is overweight and does not
engage in any regular exercise. His doctor has recommended that he increase physical activity, but he prefers video games and playing on his mobile device.
I would like some feedback on this:
The theory of reinforcement motivation focuses on an individual’s behavior and the behavior’s consequences. Reinforcement motivation emphases entirely on what happens to an individual when he takes some action. Therefore, according to theorist B.K. Skinner, the exterior environment of the individual must be made up efficiently and positively to motivate the individual.
Theory of reinforcement motivation can be applied with Max to help increase physical activity by perhaps showing him the results of others who became more active to get their desired weight; this can be a contrived, primary reinforcer. “Contrived reinforcers are events that are provided by someone for the purpose of modifying behavior.” “(Chance P.,2013). Max would be more inclined to take part in more physical activities if he saw actual positive results, it may motivate him. “The focus should always be on positive aspects of student behavior and on strengthening those behaviors.” (Little, S.G., Akin-Little, A. & Cook, C., 2009)
Motivating operations could potentially increase the effectiveness of the proposed reinforcer applied to this scenario because of the explanation above. Continuous reinforcement would be most effective for delivering the proposed reinforcement; this is the fastest way for a behavior to be taught. When Max sees a positive outcome from another person, being active physically, he can picture himself at his desired weight and become more motivated.
